Post-graduate studies in woodcut printmaking, illustration, painting, photography and lithography.

Original art history investigation, cataloging and photo documentation of the work of Spanish painter Tomás Povedano de Arcos, (Thesis for Licenciatura in Fine Arts)

My work is represented in private and public collections in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Holland, United States, Panamá, Mexico and Spain.

 

TEACHING

1981-1982

Teacher of Fine Arts at Humbolt High School, San José, Costa Rica.

 

1981-1988

Professor of Studio Art at the School of Fine Arts of the University of Costa Rica, (escuela de Bellas Artes en San Pedro and in the Sede de Occidente in San Ramón) with curricular responsibilities in painting, drawing and design; also taught courses on woodcut, printmaking, photography, metal works, metal enamel, and human anatomy for artists.

Coordinator of University- Community Projects such as Workshops for Craftsmen Development and Art Workshops for Children.

 

1990

Adjunct Professor of Studio Art at the Art Department of Linfield College, Life Drawing. McMinnville, OR USA.

 

1994-1997

Spanish teacher at McMinnville Montessori School, McMinnville, Oregon USA, creating a Spanish Teaching- Learning Method that would fit in the Montessori Method and implementing and teaching a curriculum for children from the ages of 3 to 12 years old.
